2008 the Bloodiest Year for Palestinians Since 1948

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) bases in Gaza, issued a report on Saturday revealing that the year 2008 is the bloodiest year for the Palestinians since the Nakba of 1948. It included violations and attacks inflicted during internal clashes, and during Israeli offensives against the Palestinians.

U.S. Military Agency: Harsh Interrogation Methods are ‘Torture’ and ‘Unreliable’

The US military agency which runs the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) program — from which the enhanced interrogation techniques used on detainees were derived — warned as early as July 2002 that those techniques constituted “torture” and would produce “unreliable information.”

Bank of America ‘Threatened’ over Merrill Lynch Deal
